YowCH & Grace

We had a short holiday trip to PJ from 12 to 16 Dec 2009. We started the drive up North early in the morning, leaving home at 5:00am and reaching PJ at 11:15am, with two stops of about 45 mins each along the way.

We spent good time with YowCH’s parents and sister Loon, cousin Huang Yin and family, and visit uncle Pieng Nyan at Kepong. Lots of shopping at One Utama and Kelana Jaya Giant. We also met Chee Kean, Ming Ming, Ray Mun, Srinivasan and Thean Seong, plus a chance encounter with Hsiao Yen at One Utama MPH.

Nowadays, we pack very light for trips.

We had stops for food and ice-cream along the way to PJ.

Loon brought us to a very nice Western restaurant, The Garden, at One Utama.

We met Zi Yu at Duck King Restaurant for dim sum lunch at Jaya One.

YowCH managed to find a nicely matching leather steering wheel cover (fake leather, actually) at Brothers Auto Shop, at Kelana Jaya.

We visit uncle Pieng Nyan’s new place at Kepong, the scenery at the nearby lake is fantastic.

On 16 Dec, we drove from PJ back to Singapore with YowCH’s parents, stopping for food and ice-cream. We started at 10:30am and reached home at 4:00pm, with three stops along the way, including petrol refill at Machap.

Thank God for a very pleasant trip, meeting family and friends and lots of shopping done.
