05 Sept, Saturday:
Paul, Alison, Nathaniel, Hannah and Daniel met us at the Airport. Dr Kabir was there, too. The Ngs then drove us back to Glen Iris, their place in Melbourne.

After settling down and re-packing at Ngs’ place, we set out to the Dandenongs. YowCH had kangaroo steak at the first lunch at Chateau Yering Historical House. Joseph had kangaroo meat, too. The Chateau has a large courtyard.

We visited Healesville Sanctuary with lots of local animals; koalas, kangaroos, kookaburras, tasmanian devils, wombats and dingoes among others. The zoo keeper took a photo of all of us (it’s the only one photo of this trip with all ten of us Yows and Ngs). We stayed over at Sanctuary House Resort Motel, which is just next to the Healesville Sanctuary.

We visited Warrook Cattle Farm, Woolamai Beach, Phillip Island Koala Conservation Centre and finally the Penguin Parade (no photography allowed). The bus took us back to Melbourne at 10:30pm and Paul drove us home.
