090626 Trip to PJ, Ai Ling’s wedding

Grace’s cousin, Ai Ling’s wedding was on 27 June and we drove to PJ again with dad, mum and Gene on afternoon of 26 June (Friday). YowCH’s colleague, Goh Wei Yon who stays in Old Klang Road hitched a ride with us. We placed two magnetic stickers this time, Malaysia flag and Selangor crest:

That’s our break at Ayer Keroh:

We planned the trip with only one stop at Ayer Keroh, but Joseph needed a pit stop at Dengkil.

After reaching home and dinner, we went out for supper with Chee Kean.

The next morning, we went to Kuala Lumpur Wesley Methodist Church for the wedding. The church is nicely tucked up on the hill near Merdeka Stadium. You can see the rustic looks of this old building at Wesley Road:

Incidentally, the 1st KL BB and GB is here!

We then drove over to Mid-Valley Megamall for lunch at Spring Valley Restaurant:

Some photos taken at home after the wedding and lunch, and dinner with YowCH’s parents at the new Tropicana City Mall.

The next morning, we went out to Kampung Chempaka for breakfast with Chee Kean, then went home for final packing and the drive home. We had lunch at Taman Mayang Jaya, Bao Bao Noodles, and picked up Wei Yon at 13:45. The stop point was Machap where we had some ice-cream:

We then left the highway at Simpang Regam to head for Pontian. Here you see Esther and David watching a movie while Joseph needed another pit stop at Benut.

At Pontian, we had durian and mangosteen with Ah Gu and Ah Yee.

Joseph meets great grandma for the first time.

We even had some time to wash the car before we went back to Singapore.

David had a surprise when we allowed him to stay over for one night at Pontian, so he would be leaving on Monday with mum, dad and Gene.

After the durians, we had some other hawker food and left Pontian at 20:15. We reached home at 22:10 after dropping Wei Yon at his place at Kim Tian.
