210318 to 19 Staycation at Pan Pacific

As part of the healthcare team, Grace recevied a one-night staycation at Pan Pacific. We booked 18-19 March for the stayover, and brought along Joseph and Samuel.

The day started off with a visit to the ArtScience Museum for the Star Wars Identities exhibition. Grace went with Joseph, Samuel and Esther (because YowCH’s leg is still recovering from injury and should walkl too much). After dropping them off at the exhibition, YowCH went to Bugis area for a massage at Blossom Wellness Spa.

At the Star Wars exhibition, firstly, each visitor will picked an identity.

Some of the exhibits are actual props used in the movie!

Many interesting props and artworks.

Samuel’s selfie.

Many interactive displays.

Darth Vader!

After completing the tour of the exhibition, they walked through the Helix Bridge to Pan Pacific Hotel to meet YowCH.

We had lunch in Marina Square Putien before checking in to the hotel.

Very nice food at Putien.

Esther went home on her own after lunch, while we went to Pan Pacific to check in.

We were given room 1802.

There’s a personalised welcome message and a welcome pack to thank healthcare workers.

Room is high up, nice view.

YowCH attened a meeting online while Grace took the boys out shopping.

The stuff Grace bought for supper.

We went out to Marina Square for dinner, and we had ramen at Kanada-ya. Very tasty.

After dinner, we shopped a bit and returned to the room to rest.

And the obligatory supper! The boys were also drinking the booze. Slept well.

The next morning, we went to the ‘buffet’ breakfast, where we call the waiters to order our food due to Covid.

We didn’t get a slot at the swimming pool, so Samuel only got to look at the ppol.

We then rested in the room again, and packed up.

Samuel drew the layout of the room.

After checking out, we called David and Esther to join us at Marina Square for lunch. We ate good Turkish food at Sofra. Very nice kebabs and desserts.

We thank God for this short break within the restrictive movement of Covid situation. Hopefully we can travel overseas again soon.
