We had a short trip home to PJ from 27 to 28 Oct to attend Jeanne’s 1st birthday. Esther, having her O-levels, stayed home, and David stayed to help out at home. We started driving on Sat 27 Oct at 4:45am and reached PJ at about 8:20am.


We picked mom and dad for breakfast with the Tans at Jin Xuan Dim Sum.

We then went home, and went to Giant for some shopping. We also collected the Malaysian Lego sets which Daren helped us buy.

At 11:45am, we reached District 13 Cafe, where Chee Kean and Ming Meng booked the whole place for Jeanne’s party.

The food was rather good! With free flow coffee, too!

After the party ended at 3:00pm, Samuel left with the Tans to home and took a nap. Grace, Joseph and I went to Paradigm Mall for shopping.

Dinner was a bunch of miscellaneous food including rojak, chendol, vinegar pork leg, nasi ulam, durian pancake and chicken rice.



We had some family time and then went for supper at Kayu.



We got home and slept at 11:30pm.

The next morning, we woke at 9:00am, packed and went to Midvalley Megamall for brunch at Canton-i.




After brunch, we shopped a bit and then left KL at 1:00pm.

We had an ice-cream break at Machap at 3:00pm. The drive was smooth and great, until the check points.



We needed 20 mins to get pass Malaysia and 60 mins for Singapore. We reached home at about 5:40pm.

We thank God for a good time at home with family, a wonderful party with the Chans, great deals shopping, smooth drives and safety for all, including Esther and David at home.
