110617 to 20 PJ after Church Camp
We generally spent time with family and friends in PJ.
On Saturday afternoon, 18 June, CCK went out with YowCh to hunt for a replacement spare tyre rim in the car ‘slaughter shops’ in Sungai Besi. Thank God a similar rim was found and successfully replaced.
We visited I-city, Shah Alam on Saturday night after dinner. Parking was RM10 per car, so we all (9) squeezed into the Isis. I-city is a new township with electrically lit trees.
As Joseph missed out on the hiking trip in Penang, and asked to go, we arranged with CCK and PMM to go to Bukit Kiara Park at TTDI on Sunday morning. David had a fever the night before, so he sat out this walk in the park.
With so many activities, the children were obviously rather tired and slept in car often, even for short distances.
Sunday night was also Pasar Malam at Taman Megah, and we bought some snacks and clothes.
We left PJ on Monday morning, 20 June, 6:00am, again to avoid the jam.
After refilling at Yong Peng and Gelang Patah, we reached home at 10:00am.
We thank God for a fun, refreshing and exciting trip, time with family and friends, and for safety on the road. In all, we covered 1723km for the trip.
