171110 to 12 Church Junior Camp

YowCH was in the Church Junior Camp committee and was in charge of the cooking. Grace helped with the design of the nametags, Esther and David stayed over in church to help the juniors. This year, the 2 night stay-over camp for P4 and P5 children was held separately from the day camp (next week).

Here’s YowCH bringing into the room the freshly printed nametags. We brought along our own printer to make the on-site printing possible.

Some activities on Friday night. Grace then left with Joseph and Samuel to stay over at Sorrento.

The phone box, to reduce distraction.

Saturday, the juniors prepared for Good News Club. The youths were helpful in preparing food and guiding the young children.

Helping with Good News Club food.

And our camp lunch.

In the afternoon, YowCH led the buying of fresh food for the dinner.

We were having Korean style hot-pot (budae jigae).

The youths were good at food-prep.

We gave thanks for the food before starting the cooking.

After dinner, we had some paper plane war games.

Joseph sneaked in to try out, too.

By the end of the programme, even the helpers were tired.

On Sunday, we handled the two junior services, and after a short debrief, camp ended at 12:00 noon.
