160618 Gardens by the Bay, TYLin Family Day

TYLin Staff Club organized the Family Day at Gardens by the Bay on Saturday 18 June 2016, with entry to the Domes at about 3.00pm. It wasn’t very crowded when we arrived at the new Satay Club at about 1:00pm for lunch.

We then started walking the Gardens at about 2:00pm, generally around the Children areas.

At about 3:00pm, we met the TYLin colleagues, collected our tickets and entered the Flower Dome first, in order to catch the natural daylight.

The aircon was rather cold, which is why we brought along extra clothing.

At about 4:40pm, we moved over to the Cloud Forest Dome and the place was rather gloomy and cold.

We finished the Dome at about 5:50pm, and re-entered to catch the misting session (once every 2 hours) at 6:00pm.

We left the Domes at 6:15pm, and grabbed a McNuggets snack.

After the snack, we roamed to the Great Trees to watch the light show at 7:45pm. Since we had about 45 minutes, we grabbed a quick dinner at a nearby restaurant.

We finished our dinner on time for the lights and sounds show of the Great Trees at 7:45pm. The songs where Waltzes, and the show lasted about 15 minutes.

WE walked back to the car at about 8:05pm, and left the Gardens at 8:40pm.
