160116 to 17 Trip to PJ, TYLin KL Annual Dinner

For YowCH’s company TYLin KL Annual Dinner, we made a short trip to PJ, which is also a great excuse to visit YowCH’s parents and sister. Packing was minimal as only Joseph and Samuel travelled. Esther and David had weekend activities and remained in Singapore.

WE started driving at about 4:30am on 16 Jan and reached home about 7:45am. A nice and smooth drive.

The family then went to Damansara for dim sum at Jin Xuan, with Chee Kean and Ming Meng.

Here are some scenes back at home. Samuel had a great time playing with Yen Li.

Grace had time to enjoy her knitting.

We even helped transport a bed to Daren’s home in the Isis.

In the afternoon, we went out for lunch at Sushi Zanmai, Paradigm Mall with the Tans.

Then YowCH went out by LRT to the TYLin Dinner at Renaissance Hotel, KL. At dinner time, Joseph was so tired that he couldn’t wake up.

Here are some photos of the Annual Dinner, theme was Le Violette, hence all shades of pink, lilac, purples and violet.

The door gift was a practical power-bank and a calendar.

Next morning, Sunday, we had breakfast at home.

Then the Tans went with us to Giant to buy sundry. Joseph, Samuel and Li Li had some fun at the playground at Giant.

Joseph also practiced his violin and ukulele.

We then had lunch at home and packed the car.

One last stop, Megaherb to buy some milk power for Yan. Then we left PJ at 3:30pm.

The afternoon was rainy at times, and there was an accident on the road. Thankfully, we were not far behind and managed to pass the choke-point early.

We reached Gelang Patah for KFC at about 6:30pm.

Sadly, we had to queue for more than 1 hour at the checkpoints.

After picking Esther and David from Sorrento, we reached home at about 9:00pm.

Over the weekend, Esther and David went to church, swam 3 times, did their homework and went for ballet/football. Thanks to Grace’s parents and sister for helping look after them.

Thank God that the trip was safe and fun, and we had good family time in PJ. We are also thankful that YowCH’s dad has recovered from the very weak period back in December, and he is able to walk about and get up and down stairs.
