080712 TYLin’s durian trip

TYLin’s Staff Club committee organised a trip into Johor on 12 July 2008 to enjoy some durians and a dinner. We took two chartered buses from Lavender MRT and had a wait 1 hour to cross the causeway. The first stop was fishball noodles at Ah Koong.

Then we visited a local art and culture centre where we painted batik and heard Angklong music.

After that we had buffet durians by the roadside. There was also some fried meehoon (stiff as wires) and rambutans for those not eating durians.

After the durians, we went shopping followed by a dinner at a seafood restaurant (but we ate pretty normal stuff, not seafood pre se). It was also our MD Mr Gan’s birthday on 12 July.

We reached home at about 9pm.
