151121 Zoo Trip 26, TYLin family day

We visited the zoo on 21 Nov 2015, as YowCH is an organizer of the TYLin family day event at the zoo. We reached the zoo at 8:00am, and administered the arrival of the staff until about 9:30am. In the mean time, we had ice-cream and KFC for breakfast.

These are the TYLin Staff Club committee members present at the zoo:

Samuel was very happy and active, he walked about 50% or more of the entire zoo outing!

Joseph was out map keeper and direction finder.

Our target was the newborn giraffe.

Polar bear!

Above: Raccoon Dog followed by African Painted Dog.

The lions were out to be seen.

And the new baby giraffe! Very tall and lean, and cute.

Naked mole rats:

Panther and puma.

We visited the reptile house.

A family photo near the orangutan area.

Then, at about 11:45am, we had lunch (an early lunch to avoid the crowd).

After lunch, we watched a show, Rainforest Fights Back.

We brought our own cold drinks, a Guinness and several cans of Mug Root Beer, in an ice-pack.

Samuel was also very keen to read the map.

The kangaroos and koalas.

That’s Samuel exploring.

The tigers were also out to be seen.

Finally, a trick shot of Samuel with koalas! That’s Esther buying ice-cream at the end, to cool down.

Lastly, here are some photos taken of TYLin staff attending the family day at the zoo.

We left the zoo at about 2:15pm to get to church.

Thank God for the good weather, fun time with family and friends, and strong children who walked very well.
