141108 SEA Aquarium 02 and Trick-eye museum (TYL Family Day)
T.Y.Lin’s Family Day was held in Resorts World Sentosa on 8 Nov 2014. The day’s activities included SEA Aquarium, lunch at Malaysian Food Street and Trick Eye Museum. We arrived at 9:30am as per plan, and met the Staff Club committee members who distributed the tickets to us.
While waiting for the 10:00am opening, we roamed about a little, then at about 10:10am, we entered the Aquarium.
This is Samuel’s first underwater world visit, and he was very excited to see the fishes swimming.
Some fun touching sea-stars (“star-fish” is wrong, as they are not fishes).
Here we are again, at the big tank and largest viewing window in the world.
A nice leopard shark.
Can you see Joseph next to the big fish? This grouper can feed a village!
Thanks to YowCH’s colleague, Wei Yon, we have a nice family photo here.
After the Aquarium, we walked over to Malaysia Food Street at about 12:15pm for lunch. Each attendee was given 2 $5.00 vouchers, nice.
Samuel had his own food, of course.
And that’s Wei Yon, eating with us. We had Malacca chicken rice balls, KL wanton mee, Penang mee-yoke, Kampung nasi lemak, fruit juices, Penang rojak, friend oyster omelette and at the end (after Trick Eye Museum), bought 7 egg-tarts to bring home.
After lunch, we entered Trick Eye Museum at 1:30pm. We had some fun taking photos and playing about the illusions.
We cramped the children in a cage.
Some exciting moments.
Climbing bamboo with a panda.
We tossed Samuel over molten lava!
What a stretch!
We can even walk up the wall here.
And a nice photo by David.
We left Trick Eye Museum at about 2:15pm. Thank God for a nice day of fun with YowCH’s colleagues.
