140712 Science Centre trip 1

We took advantage of some free tickets and visited the Science Centre on 12 July, Saturday starting at 10:45am after visiting YowCH’s site for opening of a new road at Science Park Drive. It has been a really long time since last visit by YowCH and Grace, to the tune of more than 15 years! Now that Esther and David are old enough, and Joseph can also enjoy it, the time is about right. We met up with the Leongs at the centre.

The children had fun playing and learning, and there was no large crowds, hence rather comfortable to go about.

There was a medical exhibition, the children were most interested.

And Grace couldn’t leave her work! haha.

At this time, the cool Fuji XF1 camera started acting badly with a stuck shutter and image processing error. We switched to the less powerful F500 that YowCH carries with him.

We had lunch in the centre, but it was expensive and not tasty. Next time, we will probably eat at MacD outside.

After lunch, we visited a few more exhibits and then went off to church at 2:40pm (Esther starts at 3:00pm).

Overall, the Science Centre is still relevant to primary school children, and the crowd is not too bad nowadays. We can visit again in a few months.
