YowCH & Grace

While Grace is working this morning, YowCH and the children went to Dairy Farm Nature Park for a short hike. This park is between Bukit Panjang and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. We started from the carpark at 8:05am. Click on the map for larger size.

We saw monkeys and squirrels.

The trail led to the Singapore Quarry, about 2.0km from the carpark. We reached at 8:55am.

We ate bread for brunch in the shelter.

There were turtles, large carps, monitor lizard and birds.

After hanging around the quarry for about 30 minutes, we headed back to the car. On the way back we encountered monkeys again.

The children broke some branches to be used as walking sticks.

At 10:25am, we reached the carpark again.

We thank God for good weather and good time to chit-chat while hiking.

Along the way, we also saw the Bukit Timah mountain bike trail and both Esther and David are eager to try it out. Perhaps sometime soon.
