We just had a short trip to PJ from 24 to 27 Sept 2010, and that is for the joyous occasion of the wedding of Chee Kean and Ming Meng on 25 Sept.

We drove up on Friday morning, went for the rehearsal on Friday night, followed the whole ceremony and dinner on Saturday, went shopping on Sunday morning, followed by a trip to Kajang, then meeting up with CCK&MM at Tropicana City and dinner at Kepong, ending with a drive back to Singapore from Monday morning.

Return to Singapore

After Church Camp, we spent the weekend from 18 to 20 June with YowCH’s parents. We had some shopping trips and some meals.

A good drive back to Singapore started at 2:30pm on Sunday and we reached home at 9:00pm after a jammed stop-over at Pagoh, refilling the tank at Machap, a KFC dinner at Tanjung Kupang, 1/2 hour jam at the Malaysian check-point and droping Hsiao Yen and Han Wei at their home.

Total distance driven from Singapore to Church Camp, home, shopping, meals and back to Singapore is 850km.

Adventurous day, 1 May 2009

Wow, what an adventurous day. We started off helping Samuel and Hwee Ling move home.

Then we went home for the children’s nap while YowCH went to fetch Grace, who had finished 3.5 hours (11:00 until 14:30) checking duty for the H1N1 flu virus at KKH. Later in the afternoon, we took a long drive to Tampines IKEA and visited the newly opened mall, Tampines 1.

When we got home at 11 pm, we found our lock stuck and had to call in the $60 locksmith to cut the lock. Well, this Yale lock lasted 8 years, not too bad.
