Today, Joseph started wearing uniform to school as he joined the Toddler Class. He got promoted from Infant Class to Toddler Class at 17 months old.

Temaseans meet-up and visiting Siu Hei
Temaseans 92-93 (Temasek JC ASEAN Scholars) had a meet-up at Daniel’s Bread Bar at Square2.

After brunch, we visited Siu Hei. He looks more like a boy now than a baby.
Zoo trip and car anniversary
Today we went to the zoo to introduce Joseph to the animals. From Joseph’s keen attention, we know he’d like to be back at the zoo again soon. The page is here.
Our car is now more than 1 year old, having driven it out of Ricardo on 9 April 2009.
TYLin Pulau Ubin morning cycling
Today, we spent the morning at Pulau Ubin under TYLin’s Staff Club activity. Grace was at work, and Joseph with in school, but dad joined us. As Esther and David are not yet cycling, they were carried on childseats.

Weekend with Ngs
Esther, David and Joseph had a fun weekend with the Ngs (Nate, Hannah and Daniel) last saturday.

Caterpillar is dead
Sadly, the caterpillar is dead, being immobile on the leaf for over a few days. It is probably at the stage where it changes from black to green, according to the Wikipedia reference here.

Trip to Pontian and Caterpillar
We had a short trip to Pontian with mum and dad. We left Singapore on 14 March (Sunday) at 7:30pm adn reached Ah Yee’s house at about 10:30pm after a quick dinner at the hawker centre.

After the trip, we found that the caterpillar has grown to about 20mm long and 4mm in diameter. It is also greenish now.
Caterpillar update
A short update, another one died after a few days, but the last reianing one is growing very well. It is about 15mm in length now.

Caterpillars
Samuel and Hwee Leng had just passed 3 caterpillars to us from their lime tree, and we intend to watch them grow and metamorphosize into the cocoon and butterfly. Unfortunately, David had already accidentally crushed one. Let’s hope the other two grows up.
We used an old cookie jar as the tank, and covered it with a perforated aluminium sheet. The chopsticks frame serves as a form of ‘branch structure’.
