TYLin’s annual dinner was held at Novotel Liang Court on 12 Dec 2014.
YowCH played in the home band “Ourselves”.
That’s YowCH (guitar, vocals), Mark (keyboard, guitar, vocals), Riyan (guitar, back-up vocals) and Vincent (drums).
We sang “Isabella”, “I Will Survive”, “That Thing You Do”, “Your Body Is A Wonderland” and “Christmas Is All Around”.
After the dinner, we walked to Brewerkz with our Malaysian office colleagues for beer.
YowCH received a Sony SmartWatch 3 in the lucky draw:
Cool stuff, but not really useful.
Today is Joseph’s last day as a kindergarten student. He went to school early to prepare for the graduation concert.
The concert was at RELC (Regional Language Centre) Hotel auditorium. Here’s his class.
The children from various Learning Vision centres then performed several shows, with each centre doing a Chinese and an English Skit each.
Joseph’s speaking role in the English skit was very major, and he did well in his voice, expressions and acting performance.
He’ll be going to Primary 1 next year, which is just a few weeks away.
YowCH’s parents came over with Daren, Loon and Yen Li. We had dinner with them and the Yongs at Junction 8 Dian Xiao Er.
We had a room to ourselves, all 15 of us.
Then we went over to the Yongs’ place, and took some family photos:
1. The whole family.
2. The women:
3. The third generation:
Very nice spending time with family.
Last night was TYLin’s movie night again, this time for Penguins (of Madagascar) at Tiong Bahru Plaza. We brought the children (including Samuel).
The movie was OK, not too bad, some laughs and silly jokes. Samuel slept half-way through, but he was never disruptive during the movie. The other three children enjoyed the show.
Tonight was Esther’s ballet performance at the University Cultural Centre (NUS) together with the rest of the dancers under various classes at Dance Arts. Held once every 2 years, Esther performed 4 years ago, but missed the one 2 years ago due to the bicycle fall injury. This year Esther’s performance was much more precise, well coordinated and graceful.
YowCH painted some henna tattoos on the children.
After the henna dried, we rubbed the stuff off, but the stained part wasn’t very dark.
Joseph celebrated his 6th birthday among his friends at the childcare. Grace got him a cake of number “6″ with 3 dinosaurs.
The cake was very well liked by the children. Esther, David and Samuel were all present to celebrate with Joseph.
We got some guitar floats as gifts for Joseph’s friends. They all enjoyed getting the ‘balloon guitars’, literally air guitars!
Back at home, Joseph got a watch from YowCH and Grace, and a Lego Chima Legend Beast from Esther.
Here are some family photos with Joseph.
And here are the three older children with their Casio watches.
Here is a photo of Samuel in his play area at the childcare centre, Learning Vision at KKh (which is actually at Alfa Centre).
