West Coast Wolves junior league 11 Nov

The West Coast Wolves hosted a soccer league game at Clementi Station, with partnership of Ulu Pandan and Taman Jurong.

It was a great morning, cool air and nice sunlight.

YowCH was doing photography and management of the West Coast teams (Under-6, U-8, U-10 and U-12).

Under-6, with Samuel.

Under-10 with Joseph.

Samuel was totally enjoying himself as a reserve. He didn’t play at all, but watched the games and had snacks.

Joseph played goalkeeper. But the opponents in U-10 were all very strong, his team did not win any of the games!

Samuel’s team won the U-6 group! He is a champion, even though he didn’t play! Actually, there were only 2 U-6 groups and the other group wasn’t very good.

Joseph got a medal for participation.

Lunch was provided, and right after the final U-12 games, the weather turned bad and it started to pour!

Lunch at Colbar, Esther gift to Samuel for BD

On Deepavali, YowCH took the children to Colbar for lunch. Grace was working.

Esther bought a gift for Samuel, for his birthday – a nice Lego set!

West Coast Wolves in CBC, dinner and drink

Our football training was disrupted by heavy rain and lightning, and we moved the team from Kent Ridge Secondary School to Clementi Bible Centre (our church building) for theory lessons.

It was a fruitful afternoon. Thank God for the space.

For dinner, we had Food Panda Western food, and finished with a nice Emperor Soju given by Paul.

Dinner with Yongs for Samuel’s birthday

The Yongs met us at Square2 Tunglok and bought dinner for Samuel’s birthday! We took a very nice round the table panoramic shot (click for larger image):

David’s G-Shock Gulfmaster

We got David a G-Shock Gulfmaster GN-1000B-1A for his Gold achievement in swimming and an early Christmas gift.

Here’s comparing to his current G-shock AW591.

The Gulfmaster has a nice white LED light.

Now the family has the full range of the Masters of G, the aviation-themed Gravity Master (Esther’s), the rugged land-based Mudmaster (YowCH’s) and the marine-based Gulfmaster (David’s). We are all wearing very large rugged watches.

Samuel learning piano, home cooking

We started Samuel on piano classes (same place as Esther) on 25 Oct 2018.

He enjoys playing and is learning well, albeit very naughty in class.

Here are some home cooked food. Dinner prepared mostly by David and a nice Cheesecake by Grace, David and Joseph.

2-day trip to PJ for Jeanne’s 1st birthday

We had a sort trip to PJ from 27 to 28 Oct without Esther and David to attend Jeanne’s 1st birthday party. Click the photos below to get to the page:

Samuel’s 5th birthday

Samuel celebrated his 5th birthday in school with his friends and brothers (Esther was taking her O-levels exam). We got him his favourite cake – strawberries cake.

Many of his classmates were absent, but those who were there had a fun time celebrating and eating cake.

Samuel gave a Lego Walrus to every one of his friends.

Back at home, he had 3 new packs of Lego as presents, 2 from us and 1 from Sze Wee.

Here’s a portrait of the 5-year-old boy.

Sentosa trip for YowCH, Grace, Joseph and Samuel

During the PSLE marking break on 15 to 18 Oct, we took a 2 day trip to Sentosa with the 2 younger boys on 15 and 16 Oct.

Grace changed her watch – with second hand

Grace needed a watch with a second hand, and after a bit of searching, the new Step Tracker Baby-G BGS-100RT-1A fits the needs and looks pretty, too. The new watch is on the right in the photo below:

Compared with the older G-shock AW591-4A, this watch is more feminine and lighter.
The strap has a nice pink line and a pink strap holder.

The best part is probably the white light which also lights up the LCD part.

Not too costly, at $151.
