Dinner on 11 June (zhong from Grace’s mom):

Joseph’s arm fracture, David’s run, Samuel HBL, chess set.

We ordered dinner and topped up with some chicken nuggets.

On 20 April, David ran 2.4km in school in 11m15s, rather slow and needs to train harder.

For dinner we had tapao Western food.

Here is a photo of Samuel at Kids For Christ (Junior Sunday School) on Saturday.

We received our kalimbas orders online from China, with 17 keys. They both sounds great! We had a smaller one made from coconut shell from Bintan quite some years ago (only 7 keys).

Dinner at home with mussels, and long ‘finger’ grapes.

David’s birthday, David canoe, Odyssey puncture, food

David went to Kallang for canoe camp over 27 and 28 Mar (no photos). YowCH fetched Grace from work after her morning shift and had lunch at Kallang, then picked David before we went to church.

David’s birthday continues to Sorrento after church on Sat 27 Mar, Grace’s mom made a cake for David, and we had dinner together.

YowCH noticed that the Odyssey rear right wheel had a puncture. We limped to Alexandra Village to try to get it patched, but the damage was too much (due to the side wall crushed with insufficient air), so we had to change to another tyre.

Managed to get a replacement of the same model Goodyear Eagle F1 A5, but not the same size, 225-45-18 instead of 235-45-18 (so the wheel is 1.1% smaller). $70 for the 2nd hand rubber.

On Sunday, we had lunch at Kallang again after swim (David at canoe, Grace at work).

And dinner at Ichiban Sushi, Novena Square, prior to picking Grace from work. David resting at home after canoe. We packed some food for Grace.

Later at night, YowCH and Grace had dinner after Grace’s afternoon duty, at Sin Hoi San.

YowCH added a set of sleep head-rests to the Odyssey, very nice and matching, and very comfortable to sleep on. Good buy at $33 with postage included (shipped from China, through Lazada).

At work, YowCH organised a meeting with all of Chye Joo’s project managers. Had a nice and casual time discussing work matters over dinner. YowCH paid for the chicken rice (from Fook Sing) and drinks (beer, light beer and root beer).

CNY hamper gifts, terrapins, food, David donated blood

After breaking the Chinese New Year hampers at Chye Joo, YowCH received 1 jar of bird’s nest drink and 1 can of abalone.

YowCH had lunch with the children, noodles at Tongue-tip.

Samuel did craft for KFC, which arrived in a mail package a few days back.

Dinner at So Pho.

Sunday, 4 Oct, restarted swim training with coach Francis.

YowCH and Grace made a bespoke sunscreen for the Odyssey, works well! It had to be bespoke because the standard ones are too small!

Our lunch at Great World City after swim.

Samuel wearing Vietnamese Coffee next to Starbucks.

Samuel led worship in the online KFC!

Charcoal stove and food

YowCH had lunch at the old school canteen opposite Connection One, which is now converted to gym and food. Not bad.

Food on Sunday, 16 Aug:

Monster Curry at Novena Square, we sat at 2 separate tables.

Airdots, tray on stove, Esther worship, Samuel’s craft

YowCH bought Xiaomi Air-dots, much cheaper than Apple Airpods, for $28. Works well. Given to Joseph.

20 June, we saw the Church Youth Service worship with Esther playing guitar.

YowCH made a flat tray to put on the stove, this is very useful to temporarily place the cooking utensils like the spade, chopsticks or tongs.

On Monday 22 June, the whole family went out for school and work.

Samuel had some free time at home, he did some craft which YowCH bought from EZbuy or Lazada.
